Amb. Castellaneta – AII Secretary General – attended the AI-NURECC high-level launch event on July 2nd 2021 (online), organized by the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR), Coordinator of the Adriatic Ionian Network of Universities, Regions, Chambers of Commerce and Cities PLUS.

The annual Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Member States of the Central European Initiative (CEI) was held via videoconference on 23 June 2021, under the Montenegrin CEI Presidency and in cooperation with the CEI-Executive Secretariat.

The Izola Declaration has been adopted on the 11th of May 2021 by the high-level political representatives of the AII/EUSAIR participating countries at the Adriatic Ionian Council/ EUSAIR Ministerial meeting.

The three winning schools in Albania, Croatia and Hungary - selected in the framework of the Call for Ideas competition “Active Young Citizens for Sustainable Development in Central European initiative (CEI) and Adriatic Ionian Initiative (AII) Areas” - were officially announced at the award ceremony on 19 May, host at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Rome (Italy).

The Adriatic and Ionian Fora of Chambers of Commerce, Universities and Cities and their members, in cooperation with Adriatic and Ionian Initiative – Chairmanship of the Republic of Slovenia – and the AII Permanent Secretariat organize three online Round Tables as Side-Events within the framework of the 6th EUSAIR Forum.
