10th EUSAIR Annual Forum - 6-7 May 2025, Crete (Greece)
On behalf of the Hellenic Presidency of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and lonian Region (EUSAIR) and the Adriatic-lonian Initiative, we are honored to invite you to the 10th EUSAIR Annual Forum, taking place on May 6-7, 2025, at the Pilot Beach Resort in Georgioupolis, Crete.
This milestone event marks the culmination of Hellenic EUSAIR Presidency and celebrates a decade of collaborative efforts towards regional integration and sustainable development in the Adriatic and lonian area.
The Forum will explore key aspects of the EUSAIR strategy, beginning with a review of achievements and future strategies. We will celebrate a decade of progress, analyze past initiatives, and chart the course for the next years within the revised Action Plan, adapting to evolving regional and global contexts. A key focus will be fostering youth engagement, showcasing the contributions of the EUSAIR Youth Council and exploring how to further empower young voices in shaping regional policies. Finally, we will address sustainability and resilience in the Adriatic-lonian Region, tackling critical areas namely blue economy, energy and climate change, protection of environment and sustainable tourism. Any challenge and obstacle may be successfully overcome by exploring and establishing innovative solutions, collaborative approaches, regional resilience and sustainable development.
The Forum will be organised jointly by the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in close cooperation with the European Commission and the EUSAIR Facility Point. It will host high-level officials from EUSAIR participating countries, representatives from the European Commission, regional stakeholders, and members of civil society.
