The 6th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region, organised by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Commission with the support of the EUSAIR Facility Point will be held on May 11-12, 2021.

Due to the still worrying context of the Covid-19 pandemic, the 6th EUSAIR Forum is going to take place in Izola (Slovenia) in a hybrid form: organisers and local speakers will be present live on stage, while all other speakers and participants will be on-line. Nevertheless, the Forum will offer a lively space for interventions, debating, networking and the exchange of views.

The main topic of the Slovenian Presidency is Green Connectivity, aiming at improving the quality of life along the coasts of the shared sea and becoming a transversal component of all four EUSAIR pillars in order to contribute to Europe’s green recovery and green future. Other priorities of the Slovenian Chairmanship to be followed at the 6th EUSAIR Annual Forum: the continuation of the European integration process of the Western Balkans, the on-going challenges related to Covid-19 and the strengthening of competencies in the field of communication.
